Sorobon Beach Resort is a naturist resort situated on the tiny Caribbean island of Bonaire (only 10,000 residents and no traffic lights!), gently cooled by the constant trade winds. A shallow bay is protected by a barrier reef, making it ideal for swimming, snorkeling and windsurfing. The resort has the only nudist beach on the island, completely private, equipped with shelters made of palm tree branches and with beach chairs. You'll find guaranteed all-over sun tanning! Above all things, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The Resort is located in a nature reserve protected under the UN Ramsar Convention. Thus, the view of the bay and the Caribbean Sea will always be guaranteed. Construction will never be permitted around the bay in order to protect the environment, in particular maritime life and other flora and fauna. Sorobon Beach Resort operations are completely environmentally sound. They do not cause any negative environmental effects. Their efforts on behalf of the environment include solar energy and sound waste and waste-water treatment. A great deal of attention is also devoted to local plant and animal life in order to maintain the interesting indigenous biotope. Unspoiled. Unhurried. Unclothed. Unforgettable. These four words charactarize their efforts to give you a complete feeling of freedom during your vacation. They offer the privacy and relaxation of a quiet, casual atmosphere, with NO television, radio or telephone. Both old time naturists and first timers feel at home in this family oriented resort. The tranquil island of Bonaire with its beautiful nature life has all the ingredients for a 100% peaceful vacation. Sorobon Beach Resort fulfills an important function: It enables you to recharge your emotional batteries, to communicate with nature and get away from 'civilization' with its traffic problems, junk mail, TV, etc. You will feel refreshed, restored and rested physically and mentally. Sorobon is a bit of heaven on a sunny island surrounded by an azure sea! The Resort is a small, quiet and intimate world community, where you will meet naturists from all over the world! The United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Scandinavia, Italy, Venezuela, Brazil, Dutch...just to name a few. Sorobon a paradise for polyglots! Their on-site restaurant "The Sugarbird" and Chef Simon offer a variety of mouthwatering dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Mornings, enjoy a full breakfast buffet. The lunch menu includes salads, pastas, classic burgers and other tasty sandwiches and freshly baked rolls. Every night features an international dinner menu with a touch of Caribbean and Oriental influences, including steak, pastas and fresh fish dishes. For vegetarian guests they also have a choice of vegetarian courses. Plus, a special dinner and/or barbeque is held once a week. In addition, once a week you are invited to an informal get together at the Manager's Party, including free soft drinks, beers and wines. Besides "The Sugarbird", there are a number of restaurants on the island of Bonaire. Close by is "Kontiki Restaurant" with fresh local fish, steaks, fruits, salads and tropical cocktails. They offer free pick up service. The Sorobon bar is open all day and in the evening with a choice of cocktails, all kinds of liquors and a wine list that includes wines form all over the world.
